*******  Speed Penning Purse Increases  *******

Thanks to the generous donations from Welshs Sadderly and Western Wear, the prize money in each of the Pro and Amateur Speed Penning classes has now increased by $1000.  Not only will the Champion in each class receive a very unique buckle designed by the 2010 Alberta Annual Classic Committee but the Champion of the Open class will walk away with well over $2000 and the winner of the Amateur class will walk away with over $1800. 

*NOTE: These payouts are based on entries of 32 contestants in the Pro class and 64 in the Amateur class.

SPEED PENNING CLASSES 

PRO (Riders rated 4 and up) 

AMATEUR (Riders rated 3 and down). 

Number of entires per rider are limited to 1 ride.  Total spots in the PRO class is 32 and 64 in the AMATEUR.  Top 4 fastest aggregates will advance to the FINAL ROUND SHOOTOUT in the PRO Class.  Top 6 fastest aggregates will advance to the FINAL ROUND SHOOTOUT in the AMATEUR Class.

******* HOST HOTEL ANNOUNCED *******

Several changes are in the works ofr this year's host hotel.  As in 2008 and 2009, the host hotel for the 2010 Alberta Annual Classic is the Four Points at Sheraton.  The per night rate has been decreased (yes thats right decreased) down to 2008 rates.  What a great deal for a great nights sleep.  Don't delay as a block of only 30 rooms have been reserved for this years event.  Contact the phone number in the ad below to reserve your room.

September 9, 2010 - Tentative draw date for any excess teams within a class if neccessary

October 5, 2010 - Payment in full required for all entries and stalls. Please allow sufficient time for receipt of payment on the 5th- NO EXCEPTIONS.  Any individuals payment that is not received in FULL by October 5th will be withdrawn from the team, it will become the other riders responsibility for a qualified replacement. Payment methods accepted are visa, mastercard, american express, check or money order.
